As the leader of the Upstate New York collective Glockstar, Glockstar Dimi is making a name for himself with a unique style blending New York drill with more melodic trap sounds. For his latest release “Lucky” Dimi has linked up with Freebandz producer Richie Souf for an energetic single that will only add more fuel to his buzz.
On “Lucky,” Richie’s futuristic sounding beat, laden with synthesizers and punchy 808s, provides the track with forward direction. Dimi comes through with a convincingly aggressive delivery, combining flex bars with shoutouts to the G-Corp team while expressing gratitude for his recent success. With this level of output from their frontman, don’t be surprised to see the Glockstars’ visibility explode in the near future.
