The platform of podcasts has opened a new way for people to express their creativity in a flexible way where ideas can just flow and inspire those who are listening. Labeled as an "audio experiment", 2Seater places itself within vocal and musical forms of expression, including podcasts. While it may be a plethora of podcasts that are surfacing the web, some that are rising in the ranks are not only cultivating the people in their immediate circle but it’s making noise outside of their region as well, by communicating through live sets at open format parties nationwide.

Coming from the depths of Philadelphia, 2SEATER is a new age audio platform that’s allowed some of the most impactful acts in the space of art and creativity to speak on their experiences in their industry, and how they’ve been able to achieve success in it, while DJ'ing nightlife and events that create the in-person feel and sound people have grown to love through the internet radio show. Although the platform has been putting folks on, it took some road blocks and preparation for them to achieve their recent victories.

The creators, Tre’ Banks and Brandon Lamar were both on the creative route in their own right with Tre curating and hosting under his imprint, EBC Projects (formerly known as EV-BnksCrtv) and Brandon designed clothing and merchandise for the content company, 1201 Morrison. Seeing that both of their paths were clearly aligned, the duo decided to tie together their love for music, content, designs, and experiences and this was the extreme catalyst of what makes 2SEATER.

As the brand started, the 2SEATER camp focused on doing interviews with different creatives in different markets, while simultaneously spinning there first couple of events, this gave to the expansion of the podcast and brand growing beyond the margins of Philly. With them getting the right recognition throughout time, it was a major road block that came in their direction with their original Soundcloud getting deleted due to them violating terms and that resulted them having their content and statistics getting deleted.

Given the fact that they had to bounce back and upload more material, it allowed them to refocus on what content they would like to publish, what events they would like to throw, and ultimately how they can continue to cultivate within and beyond the city’s scene. In the midst of the rise back to the top, they have covered the likes of Kolby Turnher, Jordian Ross, DJ NoLita, Miles Chancellor, Ammo Stillo, and many more in the process.

Their portfolio is continues to expand and it’s only a matter of time until their work is going to be noticed even more by the masses. Until the mean time, get familiar with their work below and follow them here and here to keep up with what events they’re spinning next.
