Florida has been developing a core sound in the South for quite sometime. Given its supreme dance influence, its translated to the rambunctious group of younger artists who have dominated the internet + the streets. Across the great Sunshine State, Palm Beach’s own Brickboydior has established a profound place in the region’s music scene.

Inking a new deal with Gold Music Group/Alamo Records, Brickboydior will now work hand alongside Mateo Dorado, the former manager of platinum selling artist, Comethazine and influential figure in Florida’s stapled music scene that is popular today. The pair together can not only elevate the sound of The Sunshine State, but they can organically bring forth the energy that is thoroughly missed from the youth driven scene that brought Florida back into the spotlight a few years ago.

Their first time to doing just that was the release of BrickboyDior’s first official single, “Been Him”. The under 2 minute single is impactful as a fire siren as soon as the beat drops. Between the vicious instrumental and his sinister delivery, Brick has shown what his potential can be in the forthcoming months. Looking forward to his what he has next under his sleeve, this single ensures there will be more heat in store for sure from Palm Beach’s next breakout star.
