Although he may not be one of the primary producers that come up across your timeline day to day, Kenny Beats has certainly made his presence in the industry for quite some time. From his work as LOUDPVCK to his newer editions of production that include the likes of A Boogie, Key!, AllBlack, Vince Staples, and more, it’s given Kenny Beats an arsenal that can’t be matched. Given his stage of versatility it’s allowed to become one of the most flexible folks in the game at the moment.

Seeing the long list of people he’s worked with, he’s easily coincided this string of artist contacts into a very engaging mini-series called “The Cave”. This is a new piece of work that shows Kenny making beats on the spot and allowing to spit bars to his off kilter instrumentals. So far the series has included the likes of Rico Nasty, Vince Staples, JPEGMAFIA, Freddie Gibbs, Zack Fox, and many more.

The unique aspect of The Cave is that it shows the relationship that Kenny carries with the people he works in a short format. In under 10 minutes, you’ll laugh, be impressed, and ultimately satisfy your music cravings for fresh freestyles of what different artists bring to the table.

If you’re looking for something fresh to watch, this is certainly it. Watch the episodes below.

This week on The Cave, we are joined by a man of true character and grit, from the smokestacks of Gary, Indiana: Freddie Gibbs. He regales us with lurid tales of coke-snorting dinner companions and misplaced pussy hairs while Kenny Beats prepares an appropriate instrumental for the occasion.

This week on The Cave we have Doja Cat, who left the farm just to bless us with a bubbly freestyle. Leaving her bovine endeavors aside for the day, she asked Kenny to serve up something hard but cute. Like a teddy bear with a gun. Seemingly, nothing is beyond Kenny's sonic versatility.

This week on The Cave, we have the illustrious Vince Staples in our presence. And at his behest, the honorable Kenneth Beats III. Kenny, who is definitely and most certainly not a member of any state police force or federal law enforcement agency administered by the Department of Justice, puts together an instrumental of global significance with massive geopolitical implications.

This week on The Cave, we are joined by the elegant, charming, inimitable Rico Nasty. She has descended from her bejeweled perch among the immortal souls of Mt. Olympus to join the peasants below and remind us why we all pray to her shrine nightly.

This week in The Cave we have two of our favorite artists from the Midwest - Smino & Monte Booker. Smino is getting ready to kick off his HOOPTI TOUR starting tomorrow, while Monte is still trying to find his way back to Earth. LA Rapper Buddy (loves kush) makes an appearance as well.
