Sophie Meiers leads into the new year with a moody impressive body of work with her release, "Wingspan,demos"

Scouring the internet for new sounds and creatives, it’s hard to differentiate the talented ones from the trash when it comes to the large influx of artists who hit our inbox daily. In the midst of the mess of submissions that across Modern Life’s desk each day, Sophie Meiers comes across as a new interesting act that not only intrigues our interest but seems like she has a bright future ahead of her with the captivating music she’s delivering.

While this may be the official introduction of Meiers to Modern Life, her presence on the internet has allowed her to gain a strong organic following and propel her artistry in an ascending direction where she can carve out her own lane. The growing Colorado artist presents a melodic soundtrack for mood music on her project, “Wingspan, demos”. The 4-track EP is only a sliver of what Meiers can do but it’s a short offering that can certainly have loads of replay value given her talented skills of songwriting and knowing how to direct and orchestrate records. While this may be her first time landing on our pages, it certainly won’t be her last.
