Charlotte's own Nascar Aloe arrives at the nation's forefront with his face-punching project, "SH!THEAD"

To start off, WOW. I’m not going to claim to know much about the punk scene as a disclaimer, but this album goes insane even from the perspective of a rap fan. Track in and track out, it features Nascar screaming over a beat, mixing punk and rap to the point that the two become seemingly intertwined. After hearing this album, I know the only other artist/group that sounds like this is City Morgue (Zillakami & Sos Mika).
With this information I mind, I’m already aware of the fact that City Morgue is helping to pioneer this new wave of punk/rap, and I am sure of it that Nascar will be at the forefront of the movement as well. My favorite song off of the album has to be “SPMO”. In the song he makes the vocal display of the strength that he carries, exclaiming on the hook “stop pissing me off, I can play God and cut off your oxygen”. I don’t know, it may seem too over the edge for some, but I know that this kid is special and I will definitely be looking into his discography at the soonest chance I get.
