Looking at what Houston has been producing as far as music goes, has been remarkable to say the least. The city has been on a new wave of producing some of the music and dances that the nation has seen, and Young Deji is certainly at the front of that when it comes to national influence. The person behind the famous dance craze, “The Woah”, Deji has translated that fame into upping the anty on his new releases.

His latest one is his long-awaited release, “Funplex”. The dedication to the indoor Houston amusement park features a very animated yet chilled out sound that features the likes of Maxo Kream, Wiz Khalifa, Majin Blue, and Tisakorean.

This is a very well balanced body of work that doesn’t shy away from Deji’s theme of creating slowed down modern melodic music that can be played for both sexes at any time of the day. This project carries a very high replay value and this will only propel Deji’s music to win more on a national stage, whether it shows in his individual music or those with features, it’s a great damn mixtape you need to check out right away.

Check out the new project below.
