When it comes to emerging talent that’s emerging from the New York City area, it’s a lot of skilled artists in the region that listeners can comb through to see who’s the most fire. In the bunch of acts that are making their way to the forefront, YL comes on the scene with differentiation and bringing back the essence of real hip-hop with his new project, “BABYMAN”.

This body of work puts listeners back in the space of wearing puffy winter coats, polo strapbacks, and Beef and Broccoli Timbs. Very 90s esque but carries a modern representation with the content that’s being delivered. YL compiles some of the smoothest jams you’re going to hear this New Year, and it’s only right you start on the right foot and get hip to his sound.

Check out his new body of work below.
