Kenny Mason & Deanté Hitchcock Deliver a Lyrical Showcase on "Give"

By blending modern trap sounds with more traditional hip-hop flavor, Kenny Mason is approaching a mainstream breakthrough. On his latest track “Give” ft. Deanté Hitchcock, the Atlanta artist leans towards the later of these aforementioned styles, giving us a Kendrick Lamar-esq lyrical banger that you need to add to your playlist ASAP.
Produced by Juu, relaxing electric piano chords, a shrewdly chopped saxophone sample and suave vocals provide “Give” a solid backdrop for Kenny to lay down his fiery verses. Not one to miss the moment, Kenny unleashes a montage of densely packed, rapid fire bars. However, Hitchcock arguable still steals the spotlight, delivering a zestful feature on the tracks back end, full of creative similes and metaphors (“And you know I can't risk that 'cause 12 get dispatched/ And pull up on curbs, get to mixin' words like syntax/When we have a kid, I wanna be present like gift wrap/ And your pretty lil' fears done got me down 'cause I'm 6-LACK”).
With their diversity of styles and undeniable technical ability, both Mason will surely see themselves headed to the top soon. “Give” simply marks an important step in this progression that you don’t want to miss.
