Being introduced to new talent is always a pleasure and we at Modern Life got some new sounds from emerging artist, Mars M. Getting her music from a friend recently, Mars makes an impressive effort on her new single, "Wake Up". When hearing it, it reminds me a lot of the earlier sounds of Jhene Aiko but she def brings in her own flair. 

The song is under 3 minutes but it takes listeners on a short trip that'll never forget after they listen. Its the perfect backdrop for a long ride at night and you have the city skyline lighting up the scenery. While this may be the first time that Modern Life is mentioning her material on the site, it won't be the last.
