The Business of Fashion teamed up with Dapper Dan, American fashion designer from Harlem, to talk all things inclusivity. Dapper Dan describes inclusivity as something that has been on his mind since starting his career in fashion and defines it as a social issue that he’s been trying to combat for the last thirty five years.

The famed fashion designer thinks the key to inclusivity in fashion is being knowledgeable about other people’s cultures. Dapper Dan goes on to explain his part in creating inclusivity in fashion and how younger generations are already beginning to be more inclusive than ever.
