Hailing from Washington Heights, Slayter has given a new tone of the streets and Uptown as a whole compared to the likes of Don Q, A Boogie, and others who hail from that side of town. The difference he makes is the nature of having a harder sound that not’s focused on melodics compared to those mentioned above but still having the capability to make a wide range of hits that’s still caters to him.
