Teezo Touchdown breaks barriers with "Careful" & "Strong Friend"

After a long hiatus from releasing music, Teezo Touchdown has returned to the music world with heartfelt single “Strong Friend”. To start out, Teezo’s creative direction is next to unmatched. Prior to dropping the single he uploaded to Instagram a video featuring him dressed in shoulder pads, spiky jewelry, and to top it all off, hair with nails sticking out of it; I love it.
The video features Teezo talking to a random Houstonian about him coming into the big city, Teezo referring to himself as if he came from a fairytale. The video ends with the Houstonian, Camille, requiring from Teezo’s fans a password in order to unlock a surprise from Teezo. After days of waiting, Teezo finally delivered his single after his whole build up with his video series and having people guess a “password”.
The single, “Strong Friend” starts out with a very mellow strumming of a guitar, something that I’d imagine myself listening to on a summer evening in the Bay of California. The song itself reminds me of something that would be sung at a campfire, with the hook “check on your strong friends, check on your strong friends, check on your strong friends”. From the promotion, to the looks, to the music itself, it seems that Teezo has everything he needs to find major success in the palms of his hands. I’m excited to see what he does with the ball in his field.
